90 Minute Stand Up Paddleboard Intro & Yoga Class
This class combines the best of both worlds: a mini SUP introduction and "basics" session, then some gentle and relaxing yoga while on the board!
Yoga while on a Paddle Board? Heck Yes! OR, before you say “NO way”, ask yourself, “When was the last time I was able to bring peace, challenge, focus, healing movement, mindfulness, nature, sun & water, and playfulness to my life?” Well, now’s your chance!
This 90-minute class combines the peacefulness of yoga together with the serenity of being on the water, while also adding in a totally manageable challenge of balance and sense of play. We’ll gear up with all the necessary equipment, have a quick basic overview for paddling form, function, and safety, short paddle to/from an anchor point in the lake, and 60-minute yoga session.
Newbies and experienced yogis welcomed. Teens and Adults welcome: Minors must be accompanied by an adult. You must be able to swim in case you fall off of the board. Please remember your sunscreen, comfortable sun & yoga clothing, towel, water, and water shoes (shoes that can get wet while entering/exiting the lake and help keep you from slipping).
