Is your studio suitable for those seeking a more physically challenging "exercise" yoga practice?
Absolutely. While we don't offer hot yoga or power yoga classes commonly associated with high-intensity exercise, we believe that yoga is a holistic practice that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Our classes are designed to provide a balanced approach to yoga, focusing on mindfulness, strength, and flexibility. Many of our students have found our classes to be an enriching way to build physical fitness while also benefiting from the mental and emotional aspects of yoga. We invite you to explore our unique offerings and discover the possibilities of a well-rounded yoga practice that goes beyond just exercise.
How accessible are your classes for individuals with physical limitations or injuries?
Our founder's journey, rooted in personal experience, has made accessibility a core value of our studio. As a trauma-informed and somatic teacher who herself lives with physical limitations from a childhood accident, she has a deep understanding of the diverse needs of every body. Our classes are thoughtfully designed to be inclusive and adaptable, with a focus on creating a safe and enjoyable yoga experience for everyone. We embrace the use of props and modifications, as our founder herself demonstrates, to ensure that each student can practice comfortably and confidently, regardless of any physical limitations or injuries. Your unique journey is celebrated here, and we are committed to helping you explore the benefits of yoga in a way that suits your individual needs and abilities.
