The Power Beyond Our Perceptions: Embracing the Mystical in the Mundane

Jessica Otieno | SEP 30, 2024

Hello Beautiful Beings,

<Just a quick note to let you know that a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is coming tomorrow! Stay tuned! You won’t want to miss it!>

As we navigate the complexities of life, it's easy to get caught up in the tangible, the logical, the "provable." But have you ever stopped to consider how much of our experience—our stress, our reactions, our very sense of reality—is shaped not just by external events but by our internal perceptions?

We are often conditioned from a young age to prioritize logical reasoning, to value the cognitive over the intuitive. Yet, this approach can limit us, binding us to the physical and ignoring the vast, mystical experiences that lie just beyond the veil of our understanding.

I recently delved deep into this during a reflection on how our thoughts, essentially wavelengths of energy, shape our reality. Many of us are tuned into the mental body thoughts—those influenced by our upbringing and societal norms. These thoughts are familiar, they align with science and data, and they feel safe because they can be validated and proven.

But what about those other wavelengths? The ones that resonate closer to source consciousness? These thoughts often defy logical analysis and remain elusive, mystical, and sadly, often dismissed. They emanate from a realm that is deeply revered yet remains an enigma because it doesn't conform to our structured views of reality.

The truth is, the universe—or God, or Source, whatever label feels right for you—doesn't operate within the neat confines of our mental constructs. It's not bound by our rules or expectations. And while this can be terrifying, it's also incredibly liberating. It invites us to embrace a level of existence that goes beyond mere reasoning, to experience life in its fullest, most profound form.

For those of us who have ventured into this mystical territory, who have dared to trust these higher wavelengths of thought, the experiences are transformative. They remind us that reality is not just what is seen or proven but also what is felt and known on a deeper, spiritual level.

Yet, distinguishing between the cognitive and the intuitive isn't always straightforward. Life experiences, especially traumas, can cloud our perceptions and make it difficult to discern the true from the false. This is where our yogic practices come in—helping us to navigate these waters, to clarify our thoughts, and to align more closely with our higher selves.

Our practices in yogic sciences are not limited to physical postures. They encompass a holistic approach that includes meditation, self-reflection, and inner work that helps us to tune into these subtler energies. These practices allow us to expand our consciousness, to resonate at new frequencies, and to see life through a broader, more inclusive lens.

So, I pose these questions to you:

• Do you believe in a higher consciousness?

• How does that wisdom manifest in your life? Beyond just a set of values you believe in, or “roadmap” for how to live your life.

• How do you embody and integrate this deeper knowledge?

• Are you open to the possibilities that your soul knows more than your brain can fathom?

• How do you distinguish that wisdom and work with it? Do you integrate it into your entire BEing, integrating both heaven and earth within your own self? Or do you simply only trust the material world, that which you can reason/prove?

I believe, through my own journey and teachings, that we are all connected—part of a universal consciousness. Our souls are individual expressions of a divine whole, here to learn, grow, and love. And it is in embracing this truth that we find our most authentic selves.

Let us not limit ourselves to the confines of our logical minds. Let us be open to the wisdom of our souls, to the spiritual insights that can guide us to places beyond our wildest imaginations.

Remember who you are. Remember why you're here. You are powerful, worthy, and capable of great things. Let's embark on this journey together, not just to survive but to thrive.

Join us. Your path to deeper understanding and personal evolution awaits.

With all my love and encouragement,

xoxo

Jess
