✨ Feeling Stuck? Discover Your Authentic Self Beyond the Boundaries
Jessica Otieno | NOV 13, 2024

My throat has been on fire all morning, and not the "oh no, I'm getting sick" kind of fire. This fire has been urging me, reminding me, inviting me to speak up—thanks to my throat chakra. But probably not in the ways you might think. We're not diving into politics today, though I am sending love to the pain, fear, excitement, hope, and division currently present in our collective.
For much of my life, I felt confused and lost. I have always had a burning conviction that I was here for a reason and that I must align to that, but I never quite felt like I knew who I was or what I was meant to do. I never quite felt like I belonged in the environments I found myself in. I spent years feeling unaligned with my true self, even though I couldn’t pinpoint what that meant.
Something I revisited last week struck a deep chord: "Authenticity is the highest vibration!" attributed to Nydia Blas. The quote claims, "It is 4,000 times more powerful than love. When you lead with true authenticity, it attracts the right opportunities, people, and circumstances into your life naturally. Be yourself & know that nobody else can be you!" Authenticity, it seems, is stronger than love and gratitude, for which numerous meditations and practices exist to help us ascend and live happily and healthily. Even Dr. Joe Dispenza has proven that a specific gratitude meditation can lead the body to self-regulate and create its own medicine, akin to receiving a flu shot. And to think, authenticity is even stronger!
What does authenticity mean to you? We can observe it in various facets of life, like in relationships, jobs, or wellness habits. I often find asking myself, “Where am I lying to myself?” an effective prompt for self-exploration. For me, authenticity has influenced how I perceive myself in different environments. But at its core, true authenticity for me is about alignment with my true Self, authenticity from a soul level: Who am I? What did I come here to do or be? What is my life’s purpose?
True, complete authenticity demands alignment with your true Self, as any deviation affects our lifeforce energy (chakras), the flow of energy through our meridians and nadis, and out into our organs and electromagnetic field. Living out of sync with our highest, truest self diminishes our life force, creating resistance within our energetic being and manifesting in our physical bodies and life experiences. When you are completely aligned and authentic to your higher Self (that above the “mind’s” conception), you are also naturally authentic in all aspects of life – your relationships, job, etc.
Many have shared feelings of misalignment with me, usually articulated differently but with a similar essence: a sense of not knowing who they are or their purpose. We can see and feel the dissonance between their true Self and who they’re showing up as in our aura photography or in real life. Symptoms might include frequent changes in aura, a lack of fulfillment in life or work, or a feeling that they are meant for more but unsure of what. It's a daily struggle, despite how many positives one might count to stay motivated.
I can tell you: I 10000% get this. It’s where I’ve been. And while I am still navigating this journey without all the answers, the leaps of faith I've taken have made me feel more aligned and authentic than ever before.
Consider this: our upbringing in communities, educational systems, and cultural expectations often define a narrow path of possibilities for us. We seek out educational degrees, which also can limit our possibilities. Have you ever seen a college degree that combines Eastern wellness philosophies and practices, spirituality & soul consciousness, human psychology, and Aura/Electromagnetic field studies together? My point, yet here I am! This mismatch can make us feel like we're fitting into “boxes” that don't accommodate our true shapes—spheres attempting to fit into squares. We invest time and money into these predefined paths only to find they don't fulfill us, leaving us with lingering questions about our true identity and purpose.
When we start to feel the discomfort, we realize that we are able to shapeshift into the box and keep pushing on, but that the box doesn’t feel good. It can feel like we’re two separate people or living two separate lives.
I want you to consider that its very likely that you don’t know who or what you’re here to become because you’ve never seen it. Perhaps it's because your path isn't meant to be defined by existing standards. Your calling is higher than the boxes you’ve been presented. It’s something unknown and undefined because YOU are unique. YOU are not the same as everyone else, so how could any program/training/career path be your sole journey to your authentic Self? Maybe your calling involves a unique synthesis of various disciplines, reflecting your unique passions and perspectives, informed by an inner guidance that transcends conventional pathways.
Do you think that the inventors of airplanes/flying or cell phones or cars had a roadmap? Could they say something like “My purpose in life Is to create airplanes or flight” or “my purpose is to create a vehicle” when those things didn’t even exist? Did they have schools to attend that would teach them those things? Of course not! They were likely very tuned into their intuition, the inner guidance system, and started to explore the urges they felt for things such as “How amazing would it be to create an object that could fly through the air like birds do?”. And instead of listening to their logic mind (or all of the naysayers around them) or allowing it to control them, they listened to that inner voice and forged forward, stepping into the unknown, unproven to create something never known of before. They had to forge their own way. They couldn’t find a training program. They didn’t have a guidance counselor to tell them what career path to follow to achieve their imagination, I mean, dreams.
The challenge we face in a world filled with literal and figurative storms is immense, but so is the potential for each of us to bring light and healing in unique ways. The collective needs you to raise your own elevation and step into your authenticity – both for the energy you will emit doing so (rather than contributing to the suffering) and also for the unimaginable yet powerful ways you will serve others.
If you don’t know what that is supposed to look like for you, consider that it’s because you are not the “box” you stepped into or believed yourself to be. And that, perhaps, your calling is something which is a beautiful blend of various things, with your own unique flavor and twist, fueled by your passion and desire that is a direct flow from your higher, true Self.
If you're ready to explore who you truly are beyond the confines of conventional roles and ready to embrace your highest, most authentic self, I'm here to journey with you. Book a consult today and we can explore together. I believe in you. And I believe that the world needs you. But we need you in the most authentic version of your Self: not just authentic in the box you’ve stepped into.

Jess
